Dear Friends and valued Patients,
I hope this letter finds you enjoying a healthy and happy Holiday season with friends and family. It’s hard to believe that we are at the end of the year already! Time has certainly gone by fast. Time really seems to go by faster and faster every year … and that has nothing to do with getting older of course.
Torrey Hills Family Dentistry is turning 4 this December! And the first thing that comes to mind when I think about it are all the wonderful relationships I have developped with my ever growing family of patients, sharing with each other life’s milestones. I particularly enjoy chatting with you for a few minutes before your dental procedure. I just wanted to express my sincere appreciation for you as a person and the opportunity to treat you and your family.
2009 has been very busy for me, both at home and at the office. My children Anya and Kenan turned 12 and 10 this year, and are also busy with school and sports activities. My husband Djamal has been helping around the office as much as he can to keep us up to date with the latest practice management technologies. Our practice has definitely grown in a way that we did not anticipate, and we are very grateful for that.
So, what’s new this year? Well, I hope you noticed that we no longer use paper (almost!) We’re green!! We reduced the use of paper with electronic patient records, email communication with patients, and consent forms and signatures. This letter is no exception. We are adding a fifth treatment room! When we were designing the office four years ago, my dental equipment specialist suggested to get the plumbing ready for the fifth room, I agreed but thought that I might never need a fifth room. Here we are, four years later and desperate for more room to accommodate our growing family of patients. We have more staff members to serve you. Sheila, our hygienist, has finally joined our team on a permanent basis. Robbyn is our new full-time registered dental assistant, and Sarah helps out on Fridays. Candice, our office coordinator, has been with us for almost three years and is invaluable to the practice. She will provide answers with a smile to questions that you may have about your treatment plan. She is also very knowledgeable with our day-to-day business, and resourceful with all aspects of dental insurance plans, benefits, and financial matters.
Last, but definitely not least, I wanted to express my heartfelt thanks to you, for your continued support and loyalty. It is a pleasure and an honor to serve you and your family. I am humbled by the trust you put in me and my team. In return, I assure you that we are doing our absolute best to render the best service possible with a caring, warm, and sincere human touch.
Thank you again very much for all your wonderful referrals of family, friends, and co-workers. You are our biggest referral source, and we gladly extend many incentives to you to express our appreciation.
Have a wonderful holiday season, and a happy and healthy new year!
